Easter Week
The next day, Katja and Artome visit Dr. Davies for a check up, and unfortunately a few vaccinations.
The big stroller goes for a run around Green Lake. Obviously this had a hypnotic effect on Artome.
Trying out a cheeseburger at Dick's Drive In.  A Seattle institution!
Dean and Melinda stopped by Des Moines to meet the kids, and we took them for a stroll at the Marina on a sunny afternoon.
Playing with Anna, and with the bannisters at Joel and Sandy's.
Uncle Paul toasts the family, and it's newest members; Katja, Artome and Baby Elsa.
New Moms.
No fear of heights, Katja gets a slide demo from Maggie Jane, and ends up on her can at the bottom. Repeat.
The new version of the kid's holiday dinner table. Anna is in command.
Easter, Part one. An excellent brunch at Ute and Rockie's (they live next door) house with an Easter egg hunt afterwards. This was another first for the kids, but they soon caught on.
Easter Part two. Dinner and family at Aunt Sandy and Uncle Joel's house. Tante Solfrid and Uncle Paul are both in town, Jeff, June and Anna came down from Bellingham, Jane,Frank and Mary from Bellevue.
Above Artome shreds open some gifts, and at right Tante Peggy gets a story from Katja.
Easter Morning
Levi and Maddie are happy to resume their Sunday tradition, frisbee at the park.
Truly a busy week. Katja and Artome are still amazed at the new world around them and the many new people that live there. We visited the Doctor, the Day Care that they will be attending soon, and had a nice Holiday weekend.
Trying on Capt. Ron's glasses.
Not too much action at home, except for an empty Easter basket.
Well, here we are at home FINALLY!!!  We are still trying to catch up with people, bills, work and everything else!  Thanks to all of you that faithfully followed our journey and for all the e-mails!  We will continue to update this website as soon as we can and want you all to know that we could not have survived the trip without ALL of you!  God Bless America!  (and Spain, Norway and Canada, too!)  More soon!
