Last day in Kazakhstan
Jim got a shoe shine from this man who agreed to have his picture taken, but did not want to look at the camera.
As promised. A picture with the Sisters on the outboud leg of our journey. They told us on the way to Karaganda, that this  would be a happy day. It was!
Outside of WPA Headquarters with children's passports and paperwork in hand!
We spent most of the day waiting for our pick-up, and appoiment at the U.S. Embassy. Childerns passports, exit visas, and immigration papers waiting. No cameras were allowed. There were three other couples there with children processing paper work as well.  At leat two of them were with WPA.  They have been in Uralsk.
The kids woke up early, and therefore so did we. Again, it seems that they are able to anticipate that something exciting is about to happen. Almaty looked beautiful in the sunrise. Recent rains cleaned the air, and the nearby mountains looked awesome.
The mountains will probobly not be visible from this apartment after the construction of commercial and residential real estate is finished.
Katja and Artome did a good job of entertaning themselves today,
President's Almaty Palace.
Our driver Dima and his diesel powered Toyota Landcrusier. Probably the perfect car for this country. He was also our driver the first time in Almaty.  That sure seems like ages ago!
We got the kids cleaned up for the big day tomorrow. Who knows what they will look like after a solid day of air travel.
Sunset, and moon rise in Almaty
More soon, as we are so frustrated to not be able to call out or post our website.  By the time you read this we will be home!  Who knew that Karaganda was the better place to connect!

The Embassy was actually pain-free!  The woman who processed us was from Auburn, WA!!!   Very friendly and  she made the process very easy.

Can't wait to see y'all!  WAHOO!!!!
