This kid loves french fries. He almost devoured this whole plate!
The delicious club sandwich and thanks to Nastia's assistance, I was able to get a side of tartar sauce for those fries!
Jim's chicken and curry dish. The menu never mentioned curry, but that's the way it goes!
Katja helped Nastia and I eat a club sandwich and also a healthy portion of fries. Katja is a ketchup girl!
Just before it was time to ask for the check! They were very well behaved at the restaurant and charmed the wait staff.
The Aladdin Restaurant. It is for kids and has an elaborate interior including climbing equipment and toys. Nastia took me on a tour as we shopped after lunch. We will try to get the kids here during the next couple of days. I have to say that it did cause me to fondly remember the Aladdin Casino in Vegas! :)
Katja and Artome are hanging out in the hallway trading hats waiting for Dad to get back from the store this afternoon.
Today went pretty quickly as Nastia joined us at 11:00 am and we all headed out towards Johnnie Walkers for a little lunch. It was rainy and about 50 degrees today, it reminded us of a typical Seattle day in March! After lunch, Nastia and Cecelia did a little shopping for souveniers and Jim took the kids back to the apartment for their afternoon nap. Tomorrow we have to visit a notary for some paperwork in the afternoon and Nastia will stay with the kids. Thursday we will try to take the kids to Aladdin Restaurant and Friday night we're having the WPA gang over here for a little going away party and also to pass on any leftover supplies we didn't use up. We are looking forward to that! Saturday should fly by as we pack up our stuff and get ready for our morning flight to Almaty on Sunday! Good times!
