Katja is counting our (now hers) Kazakhstan Tenge. She likes to stack it by denomination, and then shake it up in her cup and start all over again. I think she has a knack for counting money. Hmm.....
Katja got a look at this angry English Parliment member on BBC while enjoying a cracker and apple juice. Ali, she has a few questions for you! :)
Artome and Kukla checking out the satellite TV that has 270 channels but only recieves ten. Just a few are in English. BBC World and EuroNews are our lives, and CNN International Asia comes in about 1-2 days a week. We are very informed on international news and the view of the world on the current US Administration.
We really enjoyed our first full day with Katja and Artome. We pulled out a few old Kuklas and took a short walk up and down the street.
These two are a couple of cards. However, when my Mom called this afternoon, I tried to put them on the phone and they dummied right up! I'm sure that won't last long!
Stay away from my coin!
We know you want to know how it really went today! :) Yes, it was exhausting, but only because we are not used to two toddlers all day long! Sure, there were moments of crying and sippy cup throwing (even a few by the kids!), but we really had a pretty good day. However, we are exhausted and are only sitting up to update this website so we won't get any threatening e-mails! :) Stay tuned for our daily frolics in the apartment and exploring Karaganda with the kids! We are really looking forward to coming home! We miss you all and thanks to eveyone for the nice e-mails! We don't always have time to answer them all, but please know that they are all read and very much appreciated!
