Kids and circus tickets
Katja seemed to be a bit under the weather today, she had a bit of a cough and was happy with quiet activities. She is still studying the Russian/English phrase book.  But, by the end of our afternoon visit she was all hugs.  Sweet girl!  Again, they are so used to taking care of their own minor discomforts it was hard to get her to admit she was ill.
Lunch at Cafe Ankara.  Again, excellent food!  A wide variety of choices, from pizza to cheeseburgers to "meat" ??? sandwiches!  We have been here several times.
Here is the Karaganda Key Arena. (ha!)  We went there today to buy tickets for the Circus on Sunday. Many pictures to follow!
Outside and inside of the city hockey stadium  (Nastia and Cecelia entering)  Karaganda has a team that plays in a national league, and occasionally, international teams come to town.  We caught the end of a youth league game.  Very cool!  Boy, can these kids skate!
Shops outside.  We found Captain Ron some shorts here!!
Shortcut to home.  Lots of Moms and kids going home from school.
Hmmm... he's not up to anything at all, is he?  :)
Attention: Joshua Wood!  We found your twin!  Sorry, Rebecca!  I'll keep finding more Brady Bunch gear when we get back!  :)
Nastia and Cecelia enter the outdoor market.  Lots of Colorado Avalanche gear, as they have a Kazakh or two on the team!
A note to everyone out there following this blog.  Please don't hesitate to e-mail as we have a very good connection most times of the day and we love to hear from everyone!!!!  E-mail is good!  It makes us feel closer to home!!  Everyone e-mail!!!!
Thanks to Claudia for calling us this morning!!  So nice to hear your voice!  I wore my Texas Lone Star State t-shirt today in your honor!  (at the baby house it is so warm that you strip down to t-shirt level!)  Hook 'em Horns!
